Kashish and the OMD team worked closely with Dr. Bejaei to ensure her clinic transition would be seamless. This included planning for installation, data migration, workflow optimization and ongoing support. Plans were in place, the prep work had been done, and all was ready for the move.
Things changed when Dr. Bejaei’s “go live” date had to be moved by 15 days. Dr. Bejaei contacted Kashish again after realizing that access to HRM and OLIS had to be delayed due to the timing change. Both digital tools are essential to ensure continuity of care for patients.
Health Report Manager (HRM®) is a digital health solution that securely delivers patient reports from 600 hospitals and specialty clinics to clinicians’ EMRs.
Kashish and the OMD team quickly stepped in and completed the HRM setup immediately.
The Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS) gives clinicians who use OntarioMD-certified EMRs access to lab test orders and results from hospitals, community labs and public health labs. As patients move between hospitals, family physicians, home care and long-term care settings, OLIS makes viewing patients’ current and past test results easier and enables treatment decisions to be made at the point of care.
Although Ontario Health had completed their portion of the OLIS onboarding process, there was a delay on the EMR vendor side due to a staff handoff. OMD worked closely with the vendor to fast track Dr. Bejaei’s access to OLIS so she could receive test results for her patients without any gaps.
Dr. Bejaei now considers OMD a trusted advisor and has recommended OMD’s services to colleagues.
